You have made me taste both sweetness and bitterness,
You clothed me in the silk of pleasure and turned me over on the embers of pain,
You lifted me high and then gifted me to the abyss,
You submerged my soul in the seas of knowledge and dragged my body in the mud,
You drowned me in the lights and then planted darkness in my eyes,
You intoxicated me with longing and awakened me with loss,
You burned me with the truth and treated me with the herb of illusion,
You introduced me to the world and plunged me into confusion,
You planted love in my heart and concealed my nights from me,
And here I am …
I see neither good nor evil,
I see only Your hidden hand.
